Riverwoods' new employee campaign manager Penny Teodorczyk created a dream team of staff members from across departments for her campaign committee this year. As a result they had 38 new donors and raised and additional $2200!

Webster at Rye combines the spirit of giving with the spirit of winning by offering tons of raffle prizes for participating employees - including time off!

Most Musical
Frisbie Memorial Hospital used the incentive of one highly sought after prize for their participating employees. The winner of the campaign raffle won a new iPod. Campaign managers made sure to post the winners in a place where everyone on staff could see.

Tastiest
Raffle winners at The Edgewood Centre received two home cooked meals prepared by their ECM's. But what really makes this group stand out is that two of the employee winners continued to give back by donating their meals to a local food back.

Bottomline is at the top of the class, with their employees donating over $75,000 to United Way of the Greater Seacoast during their 2007 campaign.

Federal Savings Bank had a "Friends helping Friends" campaign with a kickoff breakfast served in a room decorated like Central Park from the TV show Friends. They even got their CEO to dress up as Joey and serve pancakes!

Lonza hosted so many events throughout their campaign it was hard to choose the best, but we settled on their first-ever relay race involving employees running around the Lonza parking garage!

Osram Sylvania hosted campaign meetings throughout the day so that all of their employees had the opportunity to hear about United Way. Because the most successful campaigns are co-branded between United Way and the company, everyone who attended a meeting received one of Osram's newest products.

Portsmouth Regional Hospital kicked off their campaign in October with a Halloween-inspired lunch. United Way employees mixed and mingled wtih hospital staff over the spooky spread!

Russound had one of the highest participation rates as 96 of their 159 employees contributed for a 60% participation. And contributions continue to grow every year!

Staff members at the Sheraton in Portsmouth enjoyed their own Willy Wonka moment during employee United Way meetings. They received candy bars if they choose to fill out their pledge form at the end of the meeting. One of those candy bars included a "golden ticket" for free passes to the movies – so for one lucky employee giving had a true immediate return!

Most Involved
The University of New Hampshire got their students involved this year through a "Communication in the Workplace" class. Designed to teach students effective communication skills that later will be beneficial to their careers, Professor Kate Hanson thought the idea of teaming up with UWGS and getting actual, real work experience was the best way to learn. Now one of those students is a United Way intern!
