Progress in Community Priority Areas
United Way of the Greater Seacoast conducted a needs assessment and held a series of community forums throughout the region to ask community members like you what the most pressing community needs are that you want us to address. Through this 2-year process, the following four areas were identified as our community priorities:
Healthcare - increasing access to primary, mental and dental healthcare services will help more of us enjoy good health
Housing - supporting a diverse housing market in our region will mean that essential members of the local workforce will be able to make their home here
Substance Abuse - focusing on substance abuse prevention efforts will help to provide promising futures for more of our youth
Transportation - efficiently coordinating and increasing available transportation resources will provide greater independence for people who are not able to drive
Together, we get results no one could accomplish alone.
That's the United Way.
