Day of Caring
17th Annual Fall Day of Caring | September 10, 2008
Day of Caring is an one-day event where volunteers from the community and local businesses give their time and services by volunteering with participating nonprofit agencies to work on one-time service projects in an effort to impact our communities' needs.
Day of Caring is a unique opportunity for nonprofit organizations to:
- Market your services to the community
- Establish relationships with local businesses
- Strengthen the volunteers' awareness of your organization's mission
- Benefit from the work of groups of skilled volunteers
- Save time, money and resources for projects that staff or other volunteers cannot accomplish alone
