Strategic Impact Investments
In order to find long-term solutions, United Way of the Greater Seacoast has made a commitment to invest in the community's future.
Education: Good Education is the key to long term financial stability, and that financial stability ultimately creates a safe stable environment for all of us. In order to achieve this goal we are investing in the following:
- Early Childhood Learning
- Healthy Teen Relationship Program
- Youth Resiliency Development Program
Income: Financial stability is a key factor in promoting economic vitality on the Seacoast. We are working to strengthen our community by identifying and tackling the underlying causes of financial hardships facing today's families. In order to achieve this goal we are investing in the following:
- Asset Building
- Ending Homelessness Work Group
- Workforce Housing
- Affordable Housing
Health: Good health and access to affordable healthcare is one of the cornerstones of a healthy community. In order to achieve this goal we are investing in the following:
- Outreach for Homeless Youth
- Community Health
- Medical Transportation

In addition, United Way of the Greater Seacoast provided operating grants to 501(c)3 nonprofit organizations in our region: Client Services Grants
Direct Service Grants
United Way of the Greater Seacoast administers the following Federal grant program: Emergency Food and Shelter Grants - a national public/private funding program.
