Mobilizing Volunteers
Through our Volunteer Action Center, UWGS engages thousands of individuals, families, and businesses. We partner with over 200 area nonprofit agencies to connect individuals or businesses who are looking volunteer or donate goods with agencies that need their help.
We provide online volunteer listings for individual or group one-time or ongoing opportunities, volunteer management training and resources, and organize two annual Day of Caring events.
With an investment of nearly $100,000, these efforts yield an estimated return of approximately $2 million in volunteer time and donated goods back to our community.
Every day volunteers are helping to improve people's lives and strengthen nonprofit organizations.
