Partnerships: Recognizing that no one organization can solve our community's most serious problems, UWGS has become a leading force for creating partnerships and coalitions that bring together policy makers, businesses, service agencies and donors to develop proactive and innovative approaches.
Investments: UWGS has a long history of supporting nonprofit organizations through monetary grants. We're also making new strategic impact investments to focus on the underlying causes and find lasting solutions in critical areas.
Mobilizing volunteers: Through our Volunteer Action Center, UWGS engages thousands of individuals, families, and businesses. Every day these volunteers give their talents, time and goods to improve people's lives and strengthen nonprofit organizations.
WHAT CAN YOU DO?
Be a part of improving the education, income and health of people in the Greater Seacoast.
GIVE. United Way of the Greater Seacoast offers a wide variety of ways to give – workplace campaigns, planned giving and bequests, corporate sponsorships and donations – even individual gifts.
ADVOCATE. You can make change happen with your voice. Be informed. Tell your friends.
VOLUNTEER. Our Volunteer Action Center works with over 200 local non-profits to develop rewarding volunteer opportunities for youth, busy working adults and seniors where they are needed most.
