A disaster can hit at any time. Natural disasters, biological or chemical terrorism, or communicable disease outbreaks could overload the capacity of our first responders and put many citizens of our community at risk.
In the event of a disaster, volunteers are needed to assist first responders, set up shelters, deliver food, provide information and serve as advocates for those affected.
